SAUNA follows Johan, a young gay man, through his experiences with love and sex. He has just started working as a receptionist at Adonis, Copenhagen's only gay sauna, where he works and spends much of his time. For Johan, the city is like a boundless paradise of opportunities with bars, parties, and one-night stands, but it is only when he meets transgender William that he experiences love up close. The love between the two is put to a tough test as their relationship develops within a  society governed by rigid ideas about gender, love, and identity.

With three clicks of her heels Judy has been transported to a world of addiction and self-deprecation where the cracks are beginning to show upon the yellow brick road. Will Judy prevail against the trials and tribulations of her childhood - come rain or come shine? 

Somewhere Under The Rainbow blends drag, performance and theatre together to explore themes of self-image, love and fame in this fictional tale inspired by the one and only Hollywood legend.

    DOCUMENTARY MASTERCLASS WITH CAROL O’KEEFFE

    Carol O’Keeffe is a gender queer independent filmmaker and activist with over two decades behind the lens. From addiction to identity, adoption to connection, her award-winning work cut deep into social issues and questions established structures.

    In this presentation, Carol will break down her approach to telling authentic stories on screen, the potential of documentary work in challenging social injustice and her determination to hunt for solutions. Following Krzysztof Kieslowski’s principle "I believe the life of every person is worthy of scrutiny, containing its own secrets and dramas."

    Cork Queer Nature Collective proudly presents an open exhibition showcasing moments of queer abundance since the collective became active again in July, 2024. Here, we celebrate that which is now blossoming, as a reminder to keep planting seeds and caring for the garden you desire - the time will be ripe. "The Time is Ripe" is composed of footage from events we have run over the past year, as well as photographs, videos and audio recordings sent in by residents and attendees of CQNC in theme with the title. There will be free zines that have been made in conjunction with past events also available! Stay queer - it's in our nature!

    LITREACHA is a monthly open mic for Queer writers and musicians to share their work and socialise. Queerness is creative, creativity is queer. In collaboration with PRISMA, this month’s theme is EMPATHY MACHINE, in reference to the Robert Ebert quote "For me, the movies are like a machine that generates empathy. If it’s a great movie, it lets you understand a little bit more about what it’s like to be a different gender, a different race, a different age, a different economic class, a different nationality, a different profession, different hopes, aspirations, dreams and fears." We are encouraging everyone to perform work inspired by queer film, or films in general through a queer lens.
