SAUNA follows Johan, a young gay man, through his experiences with love and sex. He has just started working as a receptionist at Adonis, Copenhagen's only gay sauna, where he works and spends much of his time. For Johan, the city is like a boundless paradise of opportunities with bars, parties, and one-night stands, but it is only when he meets transgender William that he experiences love up close. The love between the two is put to a tough test as their relationship develops within a  society governed by rigid ideas about gender, love, and identity.

It’s the 1950’s and Judy Garland is puttin’ on the ritz - she isn’t in Kansas anymore, a star has been born, and despite her setbacks she’s triumphed all the way to the edge of glory.

Oz granted Judy a pair of ruby slippers and a path to fame, however, all is not well underneath the rainbow. With three clicks of her heels Judy has been transported to a world of addiction and self-deprecation where the cracks are beginning to show upon the yellow brick road. Will Judy prevail against the trials and tribulations of her childhood - come rain or come shine? 

Somewhere Under The Rainbow blends drag, performance and theatre together to explore themes of self-image, love and fame in this fictional tale inspired by the one and only Hollywood legend.
