PRISMA Gemstones empowers young members of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies to explore the world of filmmaking. Through an intensive five-day crash course, young people will be introduced to LGBTQ+ film history, core filmmaking principles, and receive workshops from queer film creatives actively working in the industry.
You will gain a crash course in:
Script writing, producing and story development
Camera, lighting and sound recording
Queer film history
Video Editing, colour-grading and sound design
Film festivals and funding
The participants will shoot their own short film project over the period of the workshop days, which will premiere as part of the festival.

The course is free of charge and runs from 10 am to 5 pm each day. Lunch is provided.
